Loggerhead Vero Beach Resort and Marina, Vero Beach, Florida

Busy day today. Started this morning with a quick trip to West Marine, then on to a wonderful Farmer's Market in Fort Pierce. Lots of booths with good fruit and vegetables, baking, spices, etc. Got breakfast there and did our shopping, then on to a nautical flea market in Stuart. Lots of stuff at various booths there, not a lot that we needed, but it was interesting to poke around and look at it all. We did find some charts that will supplement those that we already have for the east coast. Got some lunch in Stuart, met Bobbi and Keith from Kim Joe III there, haven't seen them since before Christmas in Clearwater. Nice to get caught up with them. Came back here to the marina to get ready for a pot luck dinner held here once a month. It was a good way to meet some of the other boaters here. Finished the day with a walk around some of this huge complex. Loggerhead consists of the marina plus a golf course, homes and condominiums covering several acres, all very well-kept and very pretty. It is a gated community with good security. As a result though, it is not within easy walking distance of anything like stores etc. Works well since Eddie and Nancy still have the rented car.
