Loggerhead Vero Beach Resort and Marina, Vero Beach, Florida

We have rented a car for a week, so spent today checking out marinas further north, and finding marine stores. Nancy and Eddie are still trying to decide where they will stay permanently, so we looked at marinas in Eau Gallie and Melbourne. We had lunch at a place in Melbourne, then came back down to Fort Pierce to a huge marine surplus store. Wayne was able to get some parts he has been looking for for a long time. We saw some other things there, may have to go back. The towns north of Vero Beach are pretty, but perhaps do not look as prosperous as those we have come by already. Came back to the boat for dinner together with Nancy and Eddie.

One thing we can say about Loggerhead is that it is secure. From the front entrance to the complex to the parking lot for our area, it is a gate that requires a code to get in, miles of roads, 3 round-abouts, many twists and turns. We joked that if a thief got in, they would probably get lost just getting back out again.
