We celebrated Wayne's birthday today. We chose not to travel because the winds out on the Gulf were fairly high. Instead we got the dinghies down and went touring up the river and up and down some of the canals here in Naples. It gave us a chance to admire boats and houses. Wow!! There were several dolphins here in the bay this afternoon, they were playing around the dinghies as we explored. Great fun.
It was foggy this morning, then the sun came out for the rest of the morning. This afternoon it clouded over and looked like rain; apparently the rain just went past us to the north. Fog rolled in again mid-afternoon, then cleared out again. It was an odd weather day, but fairly warm throughout. Cooked pasta and pasta sauce on the boat, ate with Nancy and Eddie. Nancy made brownies, so we put some candles in a brownie for Wayne to blow out. We plan to rent a car for the next few days to do some touring.
