Naples Boat Club, Naples, Florida

We are still enjoying the hospitality of this beautiful boat club. Went to church this morning at the Naples Community Church, a very friendly church just a few minutes walk from here. They gave us each a little gift because it was our first time visiting the church, and many people came over to find out where we were from etc. Talked to one man who grew up in Ottawa, now lives down here. He said he was not sorry to leave the snow behind. Walked down to a couple of other marinas this afternoon just looking at boats, then went uptown and on to the beach. It goes on for miles. Came back and got some pizza, then ate it on the boat while Wayne and Eddie watched the beginning of the SuperBowl. We thought there would be a lot of people in the clubhouse here watching on the big screen TV, but the place is in darkness. Guess everyone is at home watching. Another warm sunny day here, humid this afternoon. Definitely shorts and T-shirt weather. Will try out the heated pool one of these days. Had thought we would leave here tomorrow, but looks like the weather may be producing winds and waves on the Gulf so we will stay here a little longer. It is a very nice place to stay.
