Legacy Harbour, Fort Myers, Florida

Very busy today. We had a list of errands we wanted to do while we had the car. Started the morning actually walking up the street to the Farmers Market, got lots of fresh vegetables, plus some shrimp that I will have to figure out how to cook. Then came back and got the car, went over to a marine trading post that is supposed to have lots of new and used stuff. It was a good place, we managed to find a few things that we need. Spent the rest of the day going to Walmart, grocery store, etc to get re-supplied. Lots of things that it is good to get while we have a car to carry them back,The men took the boat over to the municipal marina next door for fuel. We had been going to stop at Ballard fuel at Fort Myers Beach on the way tomorrow; they are apparently traditionally much cheaper than any place around. We called just to check and found that the place next door is almost the same price, plus they give a TowBoatUS discount. We would have saved $1.50 by going off our route by several miles to go to Ballard fuel, glad we checked. Pot luck dinner here at the marina tonight under the Tike hut; good chance to meet other people here and get caught up with some people we had met before.
